OutRoute is a fantasy football draft and analysis app. It is built to be useful without knowing who you are — there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal profile. This policy explains the limited information the app does handle, where it goes, and why. If a practice ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
You do not create an account or give us your name, email, phone number, or address to use OutRoute. We do not ask you to log into OutRoute itself, and we do not build a profile of you.
When you use the AI "Analyst" feature, the app creates a random identifier for your device. Our server (hosted on Cloudflare) uses that identifier only to keep track of how many Analyst credits your device has. This identifier is not your name, your Apple ID, or your advertising ID, and it is not linked to your identity. Because it is tied to the device, deleting and reinstalling the app, or switching devices, starts a new identifier — see "Your choices" below.
When you ask the Analyst a question, the app sends the context needed to answer it — such as your league settings, your roster, and relevant injury, waiver, or news information — to our server, which relays it to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate a response. We do not store the content of your Analyst conversations on our server; it is processed to produce your answer and to enforce basic rate limits. Anthropic processes these requests under its own commercial terms and does not use them to train its models.
If you connect a fantasy league, the app stores only what is needed to read that league's data — for example a session cookie or a public league ID — on your device. We never ask for, collect, or transmit your ESPN, Yahoo, or Sleeper password. Sleeper information is read from publicly available league data.
The app downloads our public player-rankings feed. Fetching it does not send any personal information about you.
Subscriptions, the lifetime option, and credit packs are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment; we never see or store your card details. To unlock access and grant credits, our server receives the purchase's transaction identifier from Apple and verifies it with Apple.
OutRoute relies on a small number of providers to function. Each processes only what is described above:
Your device's credit balance is kept on our server so your credits persist between sessions. We do not retain the content of Analyst conversations after the response is produced. Temporary technical values used to prevent abuse (such as rate-limit counters) expire automatically within minutes to a couple of days.
OutRoute stores your league connections and settings on your device; deleting the app removes them. Your Analyst credit balance is associated with your device identifier — because there is no account, credits do not transfer to a new device and are not restored by reinstalling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. To ask a question about your information, contact us using the details below.
OutRoute is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Connections between the app and our server use encryption in transit (HTTPS). Because we minimize what we collect and never handle passwords or payment details, the amount of information at risk is deliberately small. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of OutRoute after a change means you accept the revised policy.
